PHILADELPHIA B. F. KEITH'S October 13, 9 KINOGRAMS & "TOPICS OF THE DAY" - Pictures showed improvement over last two or three weeks. "Topics" still running good. Got a lot of laughs. WORDEN BROTHERS - (8 mins.) A very good novelty and gave the show a good start. A good routine of tricks with a little music. Closed to a good hand. MASON & GWYNN - (13 mins) A black-face comedy act that got over in fine shape. A boy and girl blacked up, have a good line of comedy, chatter and songs. Got a lot of laughs and finished to a very good hand. CAROLS SEBASTIAN & CO. - (23 mins.) A very elaborate dancing act with music employing two men and a girl. Staged in excellent style. Girl makes several changes of costume. They do a variety of dance numbers, including a very spectacular "vamp" number. The whole act made a very good impression and finished to a big hand. JACK INGLIS - (13 mins.) His first appearance here as a single and he was a distinct laughing and applause hit. He kept the audience in a roar from start to finish and closed to a big hand. HARRIET REMPEL & CO. - (27 mins.) in "Tarrytown" - One of the prettiest one-act plays of its kind we have had in a long time and certainly pleased our audience. It contains a very pretty story and was splendidly acted by a company of four persons, Miss Rempel assuming a dual role. It was given rapt attention from start to finish and closed to a big hand. HARRY & ANNA SEYMOUR -(18 mins.) This act repeated very well for us, getting a lot of laughs and finishing to a riot of applause. LOUISE GUNNING - (18 mins.) Doing a great favorite here she was given a cordial welcome and registered a big hit. She sang some of her old successes and every number was warmly received. She was in excellent voice and made a splendid appearance. She was accompanied by Oscar Syling, a violinist, while Hector MacCarthy accompanied both at the piano. PHIL BAKER - (25 mins.) This act was one of the biggest hits of the bill, getting both laughs and applause with the nut comedy and music. The man in the box was a laughing riot and the act closed very strong. SULLY, ROGERS & SULLY - (8 mins.) The usual routine of horizontal bar and trampoline tricks by three men. A lively act that did very well in the closing position. GENERAL REMARKS - This is a good bill with a little more comedy in it than we have had for several weeks and got over with great results with a capacity house in front. CUTS Jack Inglis - Expression "Where the H---."
