BOSTON KEITH'S Nov. 10, 9 Kinograms & Topics of the Day:- Good. Martyn & Florence:-11 min. F.S. Man and woman in fast hoop and club juggling. Opened well. Countess Verona:-15 min. in 1. A novel instrument well played. Popular and classical selections. Went well. "Mrs. Wellington's Surprise":-20 min. F.S. This comedy sketch borders on the vulgar, in many spots, got some laughs and closed to a fair hand. Miller & Mack:-14 min. in 1. Two eccentric comedians with some good dancing. Got plenty of laughs. Closed to a good hand. Mabel Burke & Co.:-17 min. in 1-1/2 Man and woman alternating in singing old and new songs, with the words thrown on the screen. Went fair. Santos & Hayes:-16 min. in one. Just as big as on previous visits here. "Extra Dry":-36 min. F.S. Spec. This comedy of Friedlander's is well costumed and the principals do good work. Got plenty of laughs and closed well. Joe Laurie:-19 min. in one. Did well in this spot. Athos & Read:-8 min. F.S. Good roller skating act, closed the show fairly well. CUTS:-Mabel Burke & Co.: Is it possible to eliminate the "shimmy" song from your routine, if so try and do it. Martyn & Florence:- Please eliminate throwing of bottle in audience. "Mrs. Wellington's Surprise":- Please eliminate the word "damn", also fix up the line "Why don't you say that I'm drunk", as it sounds rather vulgar from the front. "Extra Dry": Please eliminate the "Cleopatra" song, all suggestion of the "shimmy" dance, and reference to "night school".
