PHILADELPHIA B. F. KEITH'S NOVEMBER 10th 9 KINOGRAMS & "TOPICS OF THE DAY" - Pictures very good and "Topics" up to the average with two eliminations. CLAIRE & ATWOOD - (11 mins.) Man and woman in a rough and tumble comedy acrobatic turn on the order of the old Rice & Prevost act. Made a very good opener. NEWELL & MOST - (15 mins.) A man and woman in songs and dances. A little quiet but did very nicely in this spot. The man is a very good dancer. The SIX KIRKSMITH SISTERS - (17 mins.) A very pretty musical novelty and it made a very good impression. The act has played here before and has always made good. It was well received, closing to a good hand. SABINE & GOODWIN - (20 mins.) A new act and got over in fair shape, considering that it is not ready. It is a mixture of comedy talk, music and singing. Three men form the act, and when working smoothly it may develop into a very good act, but it needs a lot of toning up. Closed to a good hand. IMHOF, CONN & COREENE - "In A Pest House" - (35 mins.) a rough comedy act that had our house in a scream of laughter, repeating the big hit it made here last year. Closed very strong. ELIDA MORRIS - (18 mins.) One of the big applause hits of the show. Her numbers are all new and she got them over with fine results. She closed to a big hand and took two or three extra bows with her final number. MABEL McCANE & COMPANY - (27 mins.) A colorful and very flashy singing and dancing number with three persons supporting Miss McCane, the latter singing several selections. Bryan & Broderick, a former vaudeville act, interpolate some picturesque dances, while William Taylor sings several introductory selections. Stage settings and costumes about the prettiest we have seen in a long time. The act made a splendid impression. WALTER BROWER - (16 mins.) A big laughing hit. He has a lot of good material, which he makes good use of, getting a lot of laughs and closing to a big hand. GAUTIER'S "BRICKLAYERS" - (12 mins.) A very fine animal novelty that made an excellent closing number for this bill. The dogs go through some clever stunts alone on the stage and finish up with some aerial work that is very well executed. GENERAL REMARKS - We are celebrating our seventeenth anniversary this week and the above show opened in good shape to a capacity audience. Sabine & Goodwin did not get over right in the afternoon but with this act running smoothly the entire bill is O. K. Our annual flower show created a great deal of talk. CUTS "TOPICS OF THE DAY" - "A respectable woman wants a place to wash." "Three shots were fired at a colored woman and one of them hit her in Hickory Alley." Claire & Atwood - Eliminate business of rubbing body with vest and shaking garment.
