BOSTON KEITH'S Jan. 19, 20 Kinograms & Topics of the Day:-Up to the average. Jim & Myrtle Dunedin:-11 min. F.S. Good bicycle act with a good punch for finishing trick. Went well. Pressler, Klaiss & Saxe:-16 min. in 1. This act is very ordinary throughout, but they have an exceptionally good closing number that brought a big hand. Nina Payne & Co.:-18 min. in 1-1/12 and F.S. Spec. Miss Payne has a prettily staged act and a program of very pleasing dances. Closed to a good hand. Kranz & La Salle:-13 min. in 1. These boys put over a number of songs to good applause, and then surprised all with a clever routine of dancing. Were a hit. Valerie Bergere & Co.:-27 min. F.S. and 1 Spec. The present act of Miss Bergere's is entirely different from anything she has shown here before, but is well handled and seemed to please throughout. Closed to a nice hand. Friscoe:-18 min. in 1-1/2 Spec. This boy is a very good showman and put over his xylophone act in fine shape. Closed to a good hand. Miss Juliet:-29 min. in 3. Miss Juliet does some very clever work in impersonations. Went over very good. Victor Moore & Co.:-23 min. in 1 and F.S. This old act was apparently new to the present day patrons, got lots of laughs and closed to a good hand. Curzon Sisters:-6 min. F.S. A quiet closing act, although the girls do very nice work in mid-air. Held the audience fairly well. REMARKS:- Jim and Myrtle Dunedin did not appear at matinee on account of delay in baggage. CUTS:- Friscoe: You must eliminate all calling for numbers from the audience. Kranz & La Salle: Please eliminate reference to "Congress" in one of your songs. Victor Moore:- Please eliminate the word "God" from your act. Motion Picture Operator: Please eliminate the subject in reference to "Republicans won the War" in "Topics of the Day".
