REPORT ON SHOW PROVIDENCE ALBEE THEATRE JAN. 26th, 20. Following last week's excellent bill, the show this week falls somewhat flat, very little being of great merit and some of the acts being quite poor. Monday afternoon, the opinions rendered were that it is the poorest show of the season, but the show played better at the night performance. Charles Lovenberg. DALY & BERLEW Good looking young fellow and girl in a very attractive dancing act that is good enough for a better spot on the bi bill. 8 Minutes, F.S. CHARLIE WILSON Nut Comedian. In a generally better show, he would get by in number two spot. I might call it a fair act. 13 Minutes in One. PRESSLER, KLAISS & SAXE I can't see this act with spy glasses and I can't imagine how any such figure could have been arrived at for their salary. The act does not belong in first-class vaudeville, is course and unfunny to people of refinement. It might be all right for Harlem, but not for Providence. 16 Minutes in One. ALEEN BRONSON & CO. I like Miss Bronson's act better than I did Joe Laurie's. She is a very clever artiste, but her materia does not get her in line with the real hits of vaudeville. It falls short and is not worth the salary. 15 Minutes in 1-1/2 MARGARET FORD One of the hits of the bill. 13 Minutes in One. ANGER & PACKER This is probably the best act on the program and made good thoroughly. 17 Minutes in One. ROSE COGHLAN & CO. Miss Coghlan is playing a short version of her famous old play, "Forget Me Not". She is surrounded by a very good company and where her name is valuable she should prove a very good attraction. 25 Minutes F.S. VICTOR MOORE & CO Mr. Moore got quite a few laughs but nevertheless he was a disappointment. Vaudeville passed him, long ago. 22 Minutes. F.S. JOHNSON, BAKER & JOHNSON The best hat juggling act we ever had. 6 Minutes, F.S.
