PROVIDENCE. R. I. E. F. ALBEE MARCH 8th, 20 It looked for a while as if we were very badly up against it for our show this week, losing Henri Scott, Dickinson & Deagon completely and Alice Hamilton unavoidably detained in Portland by the storm. We replaced the two former acts with Alice Lloyd and put in a picture to fill the time for Miss Hamilton. In spite of these handicaps, the show went over very nicely and gave very good satisfaction. CHAS. LOVENBERG. FRANK & MILT BRITTON: Jazz performers upon the xylophone, cornet and trumbone. The audience seemed to like them quite well. 15 minutes in one. ROME & CULLEN: An act composed principally of dancing with some eccentric work by the little fellow that is especially good. Regular act runs seven minutes. They put in some talk and stretched it to 12 minutes in one. ALICE HAMILTON: Has not yet appeared. TOTO: Well known clown who met with his usual success. 16 minutes, opening full stage, close in one. DOROTHY SHOEMAKER & CO: Good sketch, well played by Miss Shoemaker, supporting Company not first class. 15 minutes full stage. SMITH & SAUVAIN: In "The Camera Man". This spot is a little too tough for them; they really belong about Number three or four. Managed to get by without offending anybody. 15 minutes in one. ALICE LLOYD: This clever artist met with unqualified success. Went much stronger than I had any idea she would. Thirty minutes open full stage, close in one. JOSEFSSON'S ICELANDERS: Very effective act that is well known and which consumed six minutes including a short introduction in one and remainder of act full stage.
