PHILADELPHIA B. F. KEITH'S FEBRUARY 16 /20 "KINOGRAMS & TOPICS OF THE DAY" - Not much variety to the pictures. "Topics" got some laughs but it was necessary to cut out four paragraphs. MARTINETTI & SYLVESTER - (7 mins.) These boys recently resumed their partnership and are doing their old rough acrobatic comedy turn. Did very well as an opener. DUVAL & SYMONDS - (12 mins.) Man and woman in songs, chatter and bits of dancing. A good line of material and handle it very well. Did very well in the second position. NINA PAYNE - (18 mins.) A pretty dancing novelty and very well received. She has completely changed her act since last seen, giving three distinct numbers and the act closed to a very good hand. ALLAN ROGERS - (21 mins.) His second week with Miss Phyllis Deane as an extra feature. She has a beautiful soprano voice and they sang single and double numbers, scoring a big applause hit and closing strong. ALAN BROOKS & CO. in "Dollars & Sense" - (40 mins.) Repeated very well. A high-class comedy, well written and splendidly played and fitted into this program in a very satisfactory manner. Closed to a very good hand. JIM & BETTY MORGAN - (20 minutes.) A big applause winner in this spot. They have some new numbers that went over fine. A comedy bit for a finish brought them back for several extra bows. Act better than ever. PAT ROONEY, MARION BENT & CO. - (50 mins.) All that has been said of this act was proven at the very first performance. It is a great act, produced in lavish style with snap and giner every minute, good music, the best lot of dancing we have ever seen in one act and a production that will create talk on any bill. It went over with a bang and is sure to do business.for us. Rooney deserves a lot of credit for the way he works all through the act. WILSON & LARSON - (6 mins.) - These boys did all that could be expected of them in the closing spot following the Rooney act. They open with dancing and later go into comedy and acrobatics. Did very well and got a liberal hand. GENERAL REMARKS - A very good show leading up to the big feature and the whole bill nicely balanced. A capacity audience at the Monday matinee were extremely well pleased. CUTS "Topics of the Day" - "The second part of Katherine will be shown at this theatre Friday night." "If John Jones, who deserted his wife and baby twenty years ago, will return the baby will knock the stuffings out of him." "The sewing circle met last Tuesday with Mrs. Peter Bare." "Mother will our cow go to Heaven when she dies? No Son. Then we will have to go to H--- for our milk - won't we?
