PHILADELPHIA B. F. KEITH'S MARCH 29th, 20 KINOGRAMS & "TOPICS OF THE DAY" - Pictures very good. "Topics" as little dry. THREE WEBER GIRLS - (8 mins.) A very good opener. Do a lot of showy acrobatic tricks and inject enough comedy to make it very useful for this position. LEONARD & WILLARD - (13 mins.) A good comedy talking act by a man and woman, the latter doing the comedy. A couple of songs are introduced, the one used for a closing number getting a lot of laughs. The act did very well and finished to a good hand. ANNA HELD, Jr. (23 mins.) This act was very well received, the man carrying the act through with some songs and comedy bits, while Miss Held displays some very attractive costumes. Closed to a very good hand. STANLEY & BIRNES - (11 mins.) A big applause hit and a big boost to the show in this position. Do a routine of clever stepping and closed strong. THOMAS E. SHEA - (24 mins.) A genuine dramatic classic. Offering consists of bits from "The Cardinal" - "The Bells" - "Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde," blended in a neat one-act story and splendidly played by Mr. Shea and his company. Given the closest attention by a capacity house and closing very big. DAVE ROTH - (14 mins.) A Philadelphia boy placed in this late position on account of his popularity here. A good sized applause hit. Plenty of variety to his act and he gets his material over in fine shape. Closed strong. BESSIE CLAYTON - (26 mins.) With all the big dancing acts we have played we are satisfied that this wonderful artiste has not lost her hold on the public, She was just as big a hit as she has ever been in this house and her entire act went over with a hurrah. FRANCES KENNEDY - (12 mins.) Holding a difficult spot following the big dance feature, she did very well. She has a lot of excellent material, handles it in classy style and next to closing put over a very satisfactory act. KANE, MOREY & MOORE - (7 mins.) Did very well in the closing position. Showy tricks on a variety of apparatus were all well handled. GENERAL REMARKS - A great bill for Holy Week and it played fine to a capacity audience, all the featured acts holding up in great shape.
