BOSTON KEITH'S June 14, 0 Kinograms:-Interresting. Especially high school boat races for the B. F. Keith Trophy (a local subject). Topics of the Day:-Up to the standard. Aronty Bros.:-8 min. F.S. Have a good routine of hand balancing and mid-air work. Made a nice opener. Lexey & O'Connor:-10 min. in 1. Boy and girl in novelty dancing and a little singing. Went well. Marshall Montgomery:-17 min. 2-1/2 Spec. Went over very good. Vinie Daly:-11 min. in 1. This girl has a varied program of singing and dancing, and certainly put it over in good shape. Closed to a big hand. Harry Holman & Co.:-21 min. in 3-1/2. A little different from his general run of sketches, having a little pathos mingled with some good comedy. Went over very well. Belle Montrose:-12min. in 1. This girl works a style all her own, and is a clever comedienne. With the assistance of man partner went over well. Under the Apple Tree:-25 min. F.S. Spec. -- A stereotype girl act lacking real punch and comedy, as usual. Pretty gowns and got over fairly well at the evening performance. Lewis & Dody:-14 min. in 1. This well known team did pretty well next to closing, especially their comedy ventriloquial bit. Maria Lo:-6 min. 2-1/2 A pretty posing act. Closed fairly well. CUTS:- "Under the Apple Tree":- Please eliminate the gag "I wish I knew where I could borrow a thousand dollars", also modify business of one man kicking the other. Belle Montrose:- Please eliminate the gag "I have played more old men, etc." Lexey & O'Connor: Please modify the shimmy. REMARKS:- This show runs about twenty minutes shy of scheduled time, but an added feature in the Kinograms helped to make up a little of it.
