PHILADELPHIA B. F. KEITH'S AUGUST 23, 20 KINOGRAMS & "TOPICS OF THE DAY" - (16 mins.) Pictures were good but we had a poor film, the pictures being indistinct. "Topics" were very good. MARGUERITE & ALVAREZ - (7 mins.) Very good aerial act by a man and woman. Showy tricks, well done. Good opener. McFARLEN & PALACE - (10 mins.) These two boys have unusually good voices and did very well with a fine lot of songs. McDEVITT, KELLY & QUINN - (22 mins.) In addition to their local value this trio did very well with their comedy and dancing, the latter being especially good. They are doing their familiar "Piano Mover" act. Closed to a good hand. DePage & YORKOV SISTERS - (14 mins.) A very pretty musical act with three girls. Program consists of vocal and instrumental selections and all three girls are talented musicians. They make an attractive appearance and the act got over in splendid shape. REGAL & MACK "The Book Shop" - (15 mins.) The sketch is a little slow in action but the man and woman are good dancers and liven it up with a variety of stepping and a couple of songs. Made a very good impression. MILLER & LYLES - (15 mins.) The new offering "Forty Below" gives these two colored boys a very good comedy vehicle. They got a lot of laughs particularly with their dancing and burlesque boxing. Closed strong. CORINNE TILTON - (36 mins.) Her revue, in which she has the assistance of a company of five principals and a chorus of eight, is light on comedy but a very pretty and pleasing musical production. Miss Tilton makes an excellent principal and all the material is well handled. The act is elaborately staged and dressed and make a very good appearance in its several changes of scenes. Miss Tilton scored with her songs and the whole act was very well liked. BERT FITZGIBBON - (20 mins.) Did as well as usual with his "nut" comedy. He has the assistance of his brother, who plays the piano and xylophone, and there is a singer used in one of the boxes. Act got a lot of laughs and closed strong. CORRADIN'S ANIMALS - (9 mins.) This is one of the prettiest animal acts of its kind that we play. A pony, dogs and a monkey are used and there is plenty of action in their work. It made a very good closing number. GENERAL REMARKS - This bill contains plenty of life, comedy and music, an ideal summer combination and the whole show went over fine to a packed house. CUTS McFarlan & Palace - The line "When the cootie left father, etc." in introducing song. Bert Fitzgibbon - "What the Heh'-" The word "Cock roach" and addressing the audience "Ladies and nuts"; also speaking to persons entering and leaving theatre.
