PHILADELPHIA B. F. KEITH'S JULY 19, 1920. KINOGRAMS & "TOPICS OF THE DAY" - Very good. PAUL, LEVAN & MILLER - (7 mins.) - Three men in a very good comedy and acrobatic turn. Excellent routine of tricks, well handled, and act made a first class opener. HOWARD & SADLER - (13 mins.) A singing turn by two women, one of which inject some comedy into her work. They have several number, which got over only fair. Finished to a light hand. J. ROSAMOND JOHNSON - (27 mins.) First appearance in this house in many years and an applause riot. His classical program brought good results but the finish with a jazz number had the house in a roar of applause. Johnson was compelled to make two short speeches at the finish. HARRY MAYO - (17 mins.) A new single that did very well. Has a very good line of comedy talk on prohibition that brought him plenty of laughs and with his singing, which is above the ordinary, he scored very well. Closed strong. GUIRAN & MARGUERITE - (13 mins.) One of the best dancing acts we have played this season and a big applause hit. A variety of numbers and each one of them splendidly executed, bring warm recognition. Act closed very strong. DILLON & PARKER - (17 mins.) A singing and talking turn by a man and woman that did very well in this spot. Talk got some laughs and their singing won good applause. It is a neatly done turn of its kind and closed to a very good hand. HARRY FOX - (24 mins.) Scored a big laughing hit with his comedy and songs. His first appearance in this house for several years and a capacity audience gave him a great receiption. He closed to a big hand with the burlesque girl bit. HERSCHEL HENLERE - (25 mins.) His act was dragged out a bit too long following several other acts using pianos. Got some laughs on his comedy and finished to a good hand, but his comedy talk did not do as well as expected. TUSCANO BROTHERS - A very good closing act. Their showy routine of axe juggling and tossing held the audience in and got them very good returns. GENERAL REMARKS - A good summer show with plenty of music and comedy and it went over very well to a capacity house Monday afternoon, despite very hot weather. CUTS Harry Fox -"Thank God." Herschel Henlere - "The devil" and "I'd give my shirt to see her shimmy."
