BOSTON KEITH'S Aug. 2 20 Kinograms & Topics of the Day:-Good. Wilfrid Du Bois:-10 min. in 2. Neat juggling act made a good opener. Murphy & White:-19 min. in 1. Two men in an exceptional piano and singing act. Went over very good. Horace Goldin:-21 min. F.S. Spec. This well known illusionist seemed to please and closed to a fair hand. Harry Cooper:-20 min. in 1. About the same material as on previous visits here. Closed to a fair hand. Melita Bonconi:-15 min. in 1. Exceptional girl violinist, good program, well received. Coley & Jaxon:-12 min. in 1 Spec. Man and woman in a novel talking act with a little dancing. Went very well. Mary Young:-34 min. F.S. Spec. Miss Young got a nice reception, having played here at the Castle Square for many years. She is playing J. M. Barrie's "Rosalind" this week. It certainly went big today at both shows. Van & Corbett:-24 min. in 1. Another act that got a big reception and certainly went over in great shape. El Rey Sisters:-8 min. FS. These two roller skating girls made a nice closing act. REMARKS:- Coley & Jaxon and Melita Bonconi were shifted for the night show and both acts appeared to benefit by the change. CUTS: Murphy & White: Please refrain from making reference to any particular box or person in the audience. Van & Corbett: Please eliminate the "married man jumping out the window" gag. Harry Cooper: Please eliminate the reference to the "pope", "rabbi" "Copley Plaza", also the "A flat" gag.
