20 TEMPLE THEATER, DETROIT, MARCH 28.1904. THE LaMonts Two men and a girl in an excellent acrobatic act. Although they opened the show they went very well. 8 min. F. S. MAX WALDON This act is one of the best, if not the best act of the female impersonation type we ever played. Waldon appears in four or five characters and each is dressed stunningly. His voice is exceptionally good. 14 min. F. S. He carries scenery. McIntyre and Primrose Two men in an ordinary black-face talking act. This act is far from being strong. 14 min. in one. MARY NORMAN In her old act of caricaturing society women. She has been seen here in the same act a number of times and while her work is artistic she failed to please as well as formerly. 17 min. F. S. 3 in one. METROPOLITAN OPERATIC QUARTET This is undoubtedly a good singing act and will draw lovers of grand opera, but the hoi polloi of vaudeville will not appreciate it. 14 min. open in two. close in one. EVA TANGUAY This little woman is the queen of all soubrettes now playing in vaudeville. She made an instantaneous hit at both Monday performances and was recalled a number of times Her act is costumed elegantly. 9 min. in one. HARRY GLAZIER & CO. The "co" consists of one woman. The sketch "Just an Experiment," is far from being satisfactory. 17 min. F. S. SID HASSAN BEN ALI TROUPE OF ARABS As tumblers this troupe begins where all others leave off. Their work is marvelous and inspiring.
