21 CHASE'S THEATRE WASHINGTON, D. C. WEEK, MARCH 28th, 1904. Arminta This woman does a good act on the trapeze, bars and aerial horizontal ladder. She is nice looking and works with ease and speed. Full stage. Leah Russell She tells jewish stories and sings songs but we cannot commend the act. In one. Cole and Johnson Before their appearance we requested them to omit all dialogue resulting in great improvement to the act. Their success was marked and decided. Full stage. Goleman's Cats and Dogs Same tricks as upon previous appearances and appeared to excite same interest. Full stage. Intermission Dewitt, Burns and Torrance "The Awakening of Toys". The idea of the act is a good one, acrobatics excellent, woman pretty and the only weak part is her attempt at dancing. Full stage. Rae and Brosche "A Woman of few Words". A right clever comedy act barring a little old and worn out material. Open and close in one. Billy Van and Rose Beaumont. "My Busy Day". Their work is clean, lively, good comedy and interesting throughout. Full stage. The Vitagraph. Showing scenes in the flight of a pickpocket through London streets which are good. H. W. D.
