NEW YORK SHOW-- Week of April 4th, 1904--2.

GRR 2 SALLIE STEMBLER.-- Miss Stembler is a singing comedienne of excellent ability. She does her act now in the makeup of a rustic maiden whcih gives her an opportunity to make a rather catchy entrance and is appropriate to her first song. After that she gives an imitation of a Coney Island concert singer, and finishing her act with her old whistling "coon" song. She made her usual inpression here and went very strong. 12 minutes, in one.
YGR 2 RYAN & RICHFIELD. They are doing this week for the first time in this house their new act " Mike Haggerty'd Daughter" which is a sequel to "Mag Haggerty's Father," and I think is very much stronger than the latter. In this piece the locaity is changed and shows Mag Haggerty at home, which gives Ryan and opportunity to introduce his ability as an Irish comedian to the fullest extent, and he has certainly developed into an artist in that line of work. The act made a great hit. 24 minutes, full stage.
GNH. 2 ED LATELL. In his musical and comedy act which is the same as he has done over the circuit several times, but he always goes exceedingly well and did this afternoon, notwithstanding he had a very hard place on the bill. 22 minutes, in one.
GHR 2 THREE RIO BROS.-- In a graceful performance on the rings. It is an exceptionally clever act. 12 minutes, full stage.
HR 3 BIOGRAPH.-- We are making a feature this week of the battle of "The Yalu River," which, notwithstanding the fact that it is a palpable "fake", went very strong last week and the interest shown in it would indicate that it was a good policy to keep it on another week. 18 minutes, in one.
