52 NEW YORK SHOW, WEEK OF MAY 2nd, 1904. HARRY [SEEBACK? SHEBACK?]. HR 3.-- Bag puncher. This young fellow makes more out of bag punching than any fellow in his line that I ever saw. He is a nice, clean looking chap, and he does some work that is really difficult and entirely different from anything that we have had heretofore. He uses from one to five bags at a time, and it is extremely seldom that he makes a miss, the only fault of the act being that it was fifteen minutes long, and should be about ten or twelve, which will be rectified this afternoon. It is certainly a mighty good turn for the small end of the bill. 15 minutes, full stage. SH 3 NELLE [FLOREDN?].-- This young girl is a very good singer of the serio-comic order of songs. She has a pleasing voice and personality, and for an act of this kind for three shows a day I think it is all right in every way. 12 minutes in one. NH 3 MYERS & ROSA. A man and a woman in a double juggling specialty. They have been over the circuit before and are too well known for extended comment. They dress neatly, and, while there is nothing especially brilliant about their work, it is all good and pleases the audience. 12 minutes, open full stage, and close with a couple of minutes in one. GYH 3 MR & MRS NEIL LITCHFIELD.-- In a rural comedy sketch entitled "Down at Brook Farm." It has been over the circuit before and is always sure of making good in an early part of the bill. In fact, it is one of the best three show day acts regarding salary and time filling capacity that I know of. 21 minutes, full stage. SR 3 LEONARD KANE. A young fellow who comes mighty close to being as good a dancer as John Ford. I am rather inclined to think that he is more graceful than Ford, if anything, and pretty close to him as regards execution. He made a good strong hit this afternoon. 11 minutes in one. GRR 3 COTURE & GILLETT. Two men in an acrobatic and comedy act, one of them made up straight and the other as a farmer. I consider it an awfully good act for three shows. It certainly makes good here always. 9 minutes, open full stage, and close in one. GNH 2 EVERHART. --The hooper roller. There is no comment necessary on this act. He has certainly got all other performers in this line beaten to a standstill. 12 minutes, full stage. KR 3 MARKEY & MORAN. Irish comedians and dancers. Two men. I had to give them a pretty strong place on the bill in order to break sets, but so far as this house is concerned, they justified it fully, for they held their attention and amused them every moment they were on. It is an act, however, that should not be put on much later than 2 or 3 at night. 20 minutes, in one. YRR 2 JULES & ELLA GARRISON.-- In the travesty act which is too well known to need comment. 16 minutes, full stage. YRR 2 THE THREE DUMONDS. Parisian street minstrels. The personel of this act has been changed considerably since I saw it last. The fellow who brought the act over has left it, and it is now in charge of the violinist of the original three. The place of the missing one is filled by his little girl who is made up as a boy, and she is a very good singer. Taken all in all, I like the act better than before. I had not seen it in its present form and I got them to go in here this week to show it to me at a nominal figure, but am afraid that I shall not be able to send them over the circuit at this price. 17 minutes in one. GHR 2 HARRY LECLAIR. Mr. LeClair is also familiar to every body. His act this afternoon went fully as strong as ever. 24 minutes, open full stage, closing with a long encore in one.
