85 NEW YORK SHOW, WEEK OF JUNE 13th. NH 3 FRANCIS LE PAGE, assisted by Miss Florence, in a jumping specialty. There is no question but that this man is the best high and trick jumper that we have ever played. He always goes very strong in this house. 14 minutes, full stage. GRR 3 MEAKIN & McCARTY.-- Black face singing and dancing act on the old fashioned order, one of the men making up as a wench. It is not an especially strong act, but it is thoroughly all right in an early part of the bill, their dancing being very clever. 15 minutes in one. GNH 3 MR & MRS HARRY THORNE & CO.-- In "An UpTown Flat." This is to be the last season of this act, and there is no question but that they are due to make a change of some sort, but it is a remarkable thing how strong it goes. I have never known it to fail and this afternoon was no exception to the rule. 25 minutes full stage. NH 3 MURPHY & NOLAN.-- Irish comedians. these men sang parodies which went very nicely. They have rather coarse, harsh voices, but they put a good deal of life and exertion into their work and manage to create a lot of laughter. It is essentially a three-show act and only good in an early place on the bill. 19 minutes in one. YRR 2 THE REED BIRDS.-- They have the best act they have ever given us. There are only six of them, and they have arranged this sketch so that the old couple shall not predominate to a great extent, consequently presenting an act full of life from start to finish--several funny situations, two musical numbers that would make a hit in any Broadway production, I think, and a good strong ensemble to close with. They will make good anywhere. 30 minutes, full stage. NR 3 THE BRITTONS.-- Colored man and woman who are too well known on the circuit to require any comment. 11 minutes in one. YRR 2 EMPIRE CITY QUARTETTE.--The best comedy quartette in every way that we have ever played. There is but one comedian in the outfit, and he makes up as a neatly dressed Jew, after the order of Joe Welch--only better dressed. He sings some Jew parodies that are ahead of anything that Jess Dandy ever offered and their quartette singing is exceptionally good. It will be a decided acquisition to any vaudeville bill. 22 minutes in one. GYH 2 RAE & BROSCHE.-- A man and a woman in a comedy talking act called "A Woman of Few Words," which always goes good here. 17 minutes, open and close in one. McINTYRE & HEATH.--MHR 2.-- Giving us the "Georgia Minstrels" this week, and it is hardly necessary to say that they kept the audience in an uproar from start to finish. 36 minutes, full stage.
