100 Schenk Brothers, 2 shows, 11 min. full stage -- I agree with Mr. Hodgdon that this is the best act of the kind we have ever played, and there have been some pretty good ones here the elapsed season. They are the best head and hand balancers in the business. Al Lawrence, 3 shows, 15 min. in 1 -- This clever monologue mimetic comedian is presenting an entire new lot of material, and at the afternoon show did 20 minutes. As he has a extremely stiff place in the night show, I have requested him to curtail his act to 15 minutes. Biograph, 3 shows, 20 min. in 1 -- Very good selection of pictures, about evenly balanced between the interesting and the humorous. LaNole Brothers, 3 shows, 10 min. full stage -- Very good acrobatic comedy act, the work being performed on a revolving ladder, one of the team working straight and the other in a clown makeup. Will close the show with them, next to the biograph, at night. Lydell and Butterworth, 3 shows, 10 min. in 1 -- Lively singing and dancing act by a man and woman, their wooden shoe buck dancing being really excellent. Will shift them up to follow the Fadettes in the afternoon show during the balance of the week. McIntyre and Heath, 2 shows, 37 min. full stage -- These men scored just as big a laughing hit as ever, Presenting "The Man from Montana", into which they have introduced much original dialogue since it was last done here. If any criticism is possible in connection with their work, it is that their acts are too long drawn out. In this one, for instance, they would do much better by playing 25 instead of 37 minutes. Will move them further up the bill, which will be to our mutual advantage. Comment - The show as a whole is not so good as that of last week but that was not to be expected, as such shows are only made up two or three times a year. With a bit of rearrangement it will be all right. I do not think the Harry LaRose act will ever be any good with the present players in the cast.
