110 (M. J. Keating) Boston Show, Week of July 25, 1904. Stereopticon, 2 shows, 10 min. in 1 -- Usual collection of interesting home and foreign views. Fadettes Orchestra, 2 shows, 65 min. full stage -- Complete change of selections; seemed to go about as well as ever. Ad Hoyt, 3 shows, 15 min. in 1 -- Blackface singing and talking comedian; first time here. Had a bright line of goods but lacks delivery. Went well in spots. The Kalmos, (Charles and Ada) 3 shows, 11 min. in 2 -- international costume change dancers. Their dancing is excellent and their quick changes of costume really remarkable. Excellent 3-a-day turn. Morton and Elliot, 3 shows, 12 min. in 1 -- First time in nearly two years for these entertainers. Their instrumental work and songs did not score strongly, but they made an immense hit with their paper tearing. Rose Stahl and company, 2 shows, 23 min. full stage -- This act has been described in the other houses. Here it proved one of the best sketches we have played this season; Miss Stahl's clever character work making a decided impression. Her support is very good, too. There were three curtain calls at the close. Sisters Meredith, 2 show, 12 min. open in 1, go to 3, close in 1 -- These two girls are decidedly clever singers, and wear some stunning costumes. Their Indian song did not go so well as "Hiawatha" last year, but they had two or three recalls, and the audience seemed to want more of them. Jack Theo Trio, 2 shows, 13 min. full stage -- This is a combination dancing, musical and equilibristic act, possessing all the finish and artistic merit for which European acts are noted. Scored a pronounced hit all through. Gilmore and Leonard, 2 shows, 15 min. in 1 -- Irish dialect singing and talking comedians; first time together in seven years. Notwithstanding they were on rather late for an act of that kind in this house, they scored the laughing hit of the show.
