113 TEMPLE THEATRE, DETROIT, WEEK OF AUG. 1, 1904 BEAN & HAMILTON: In a barrel jumping and ground tumbling act. This is a great act of its kind. Does very well in balancing the bill. 8 mins F S. RAY COX: This tall rather captivating woman made quite a hit with our audiences. Still I could not recommend the act as first class. 12 mins in one. EDWIN KEOUGH & DOROTHY BALARD: Presenting "A Vaudeville Surprise". This act has many ludicrous situations. Went very strongly here. Still it was far from being a headline act. 20 mins. F. S. 4 in one. 8 ENGLISH GIRLS.: This act is much inferior to that of the English Pony Ballet, and is also inferior to the act of the Madcaps, but still it is full of life and color and went very strong here. 9 mins. F. S. DANE CLAUDIUS & EDMUND CORBIN: These young men handle the banjos in a masterly manner and give a full measure of entertainment. 11 mins. in one. EVA WILLIAMS & JAC TUCKER: Presenting "Skinney's Finish". It is unnecessary perhaps to dwell at length on this act. Suffice it to say that it was again received here with the same generous applause that characterized its former presentation. 24 mins. F. S. HOEY & LEE: These two Hebrew entertainers are no better nor worse than the average 18 mins. in one. LeROY & LEVANION: Horizontal bar performers. These men do an excellent act, and are good enough to close any bill. 9 mins. F. S.
