Conn and Conrad, 2 shows, 12 min. full stage -- This act has been described and commented upon in the New York report. It is just the same as when we played it, a year ago last April, and went as well. Biograph, 2 shows, 20 min. in 1 -- List of pictures this week is about the average merit, the best films being those showing High Speed Auto-Boats on the Hudson and "A Raid on a Coiner's Den." Jacobs and Vantyle, 3 shows, 12 min. full stage -- Man and woman in a comedy and singing sketch, the man working in German makeup and the woman straight. It is none too good, even from a 3-a-day point of view, the comedy being simply wretched and the singing only fair. Pass it along to the smaller houses, that is where it belongs. Delberg Sisters, 3 shows, 12 min. in 1 -- These girls are not at all bad. In fact, they average well with the majority of "sister" acts. They make a couple of costume changes and are decidedly all right in the 3-a-day section. May Bell and J. W. Oliver, 3 shows, 14 min. opens full stage, close in 1 -- In an Alleged singing and comedy sketch with some zylophone [xylophone] playing by the woman. They are both freaks, and I cannot understand how the act got by in New York. The censor must have been called to the telephone. "Never again." Comment - The show as a whole is below our average, especially in the 3-show division, although the 2-show section is nothing to be particularly proud of. It may make good with the audience, perhaps, but I doubt it. However it was one of those mongrel collection of acts that come about through much shifting in order to strengthen our bills and practically the whole of them are finishing the circuit here, so that no shifting was possible.
