133 CHASE'S THEATRE...WASHINGTON, D.C. WEEK, SEPT. [SEPTEMBER] 5TH, 1904 Dorsch and Russell 2 men in musical novelties, special setting and act of sufficient merit and interest to go any place on the bill. Full stage but can close in one. Louise Dresser A beautiful woman, elegantly gowned and with catchy songs she became at once a favorite. In one. Chas. Barry and Hulda Havers With eccentric dancing and good comedy they made a distinct hit with our audience. Act always good but now better than ever. Full stage, closing in one. Kathryn Osterman Assistant by G. Roland Sargeant presented "Emma's Dilemma" which we regard as better than any of her previous offerings. In fact very good. Full stage. INTERMISSION Hermann the Great For 30 minutes he followed one trick with another, many new, and proved himself to not only be a great magician but is probably the best drawing card we have ever played. Marie Hermann assisted in the illusions. Carries his own handsome setting and many assistants. Full stage. Jack Norworth With his new talk and new sings he made a tremendous hit. In one. The Athos Family We hold their contract, photos and billing, but to our surprise they did not appear nor have we a single word from them. The American Vitagraph Views of Great London Fire which are fine. H. Winnifred De Witt.
