154 GRAND OPERA HOUSE WEEK COMMENCING SEPT. 19th, 04. PITTSBURG, PA. STEREOPTICON- 15 minutes. MARSHALL & LORRAINE- 15 minutes, full stage-interior. 3 shows. Close in one about three minutes. We do not consider this act good enough even for the three a day section. THE WONDERFUL ZOELLERS- Aerial Artists- 3 shows. 9 minutes in three-wood. We consider this a very good act for three shows and is doing very well for us at 2:00 and 8:00. LAWRENCE CRANE- The Irish Magician. 18 minutes in one. Carries velvet drop. 3 shows. This act is above the average three show act. KARSY'S MYRAPHONE- 14 minutes. This is a novelty musical act and goes fairly well. I would not care to play a return as it is simply the novelty of the thing that carries it through. KATHERINE NELSON- 14 minutes in one. Imitations and monologue. Miss Nelson's act is only fair and is just about making good. We have her on at 8:10 and would not care to chance her any later on the bill. COLLINS & HART- 15 minutes, full stage, wood. Comedy Acrobats. This act is going very well with us. It is an act similar to Blocksum & Burns whom we played two weeks ago. I consider this a better act than Blocksum & Burns. NICHOLS SISTERS-12 minutes in one. This act is a big favorite here and they are going just as big now as they did during their first engagement. BRUNO & RUSSELL- 14 minutes. Full stage, interior. Can close three minutes in one. Singing and eccentric dancing act. This act is above the average in their line and are going very big with us. CARLIN & OTTO- 16 minutes in one. Singing and dancing German comedians. They are going very big with us, fully as well as during their first engagement. We consider them the best act of the kind in vaudeville. JESSIE MILLWARD assisted by Francis Carlyle. 32 minutes. Interior in three. This is a very serious sketch, well acted by both Miss Millward and Mr. Carlyle. It is without a doubt one of the best sketches that we have played. It is going very well with our patrons and I feel sure Miss Millward's act appeals especially to high class people and is bringing new business to the house. GEO. EVANS- 20 minutes in one. Mr. Evans is going very big here, fully as good as any act we have played during the past two seasons. He is to us the best singing monologue in the business. The people do not remember him and his reception is very light, but he goes big during his entire act. TOOZOONIN ARABS- Time of their act 20 minutes. Full stage- wood. We have cut the act to 12 minutes as we feel sure it improves the act quite a little. They are going big as they always do. KINETOGRAPH: "Before and After" "The Child and the Puppy" "The Impossible Dinner" "Outing of the Mystic Shriners at Atlantic City" The pictures this week are not as good as usual. J. P. Harris.
