169 EKITH'S [Keith's] THEATRE, CLEVELAND, O. WEEK OF COTOBER [October] 3, 1904. THE VON CAMPS. magicians and illusionists. Just a fair opening act and that;'s all. Hardly strong enough for Cleveland. Runs about 20 minutes, full stage, close in one. Been over the circuit so much that no doubt everybody is familiar with it. COLLINS & HART. Grotesque acrobats. This act goes very well here. The stunts on the invisible wire were a big laughing hit. Time, 14 minutes in full stage. They cannot close in one. STINSON & MERTON. In a combination of nonsense entitled, "the Vaudeville Craze". This act never did go in Cleveland as ling as I can remember. At the Empire they were a frost. People here don't seem to want them and won't laugh at their stuff. I am doing their act all in one and cut them down to 15 minutes. At the performance last night, they did not get a hand. EDWARD F. REYNARD. Ventriloquist. This act is one of the hits of the bill. Took three curtain calls last night, in fact seems to go better every time he plays here. Time, 20 minutes full stage and with the act he is doing now, he cannot close in one. THE ITALIAN TRIO In a singing specialty. This act went very big here and is one of the kind that our audience likes. Their selections are of the high class order and are wll rendered. On of the men is as big as a house. They sing four songs. Time, 14 minutes. FREDERICK BOND & CO. In his old sketch, "My Awful Dad" The people doing this act are not as strong as they were last year. It seems these people were with him when he was presenting, "Lend Me Five Shillings" and are note very well up in their parts. This is the second week they have been doing, "My Awful Dad". However, the act itself is a good one and goes very well here. Time, 24 minutes, full stage. CHARLEY CASE. Goes very good. his talk is practically along the same lines as heretofore, mostly about his father. He has some stuff in it that is exceptionally good. Time, 20 minutes, all in one.
