198 GRAND OPERA HOUSE WEEK COMMENCING OCT. 24th, 04. PITTSBURG, PA. KENNEDY & QUATRELLI- Comedy juggling and acrobatic act. 17 minutes, full stage. This, we consider, a very good three a day act. Mooney & Holbein- 18 minutes, full stage. Singing, dancing and high kicking. Three shows. this is a very good act for the three a day section. PEWITT- The Mysterious Face. 9 minutes in two. This is simply something to advertise and while it creates some talk, I cannot say that it pleases our patrons. Albertine Melich- 11 minutes. Palace. Full stage. this is a very good bird act. While not so many birds as some acts of this kind that we have played, I am sure it gives much better satisfaction than any bird act we have played. Doroth[y] Kenton- 3 shows. 9 minutes in one. This young lady presents a very neat appearance and plays the banjo very well. She is above the average doing three shows. Finlay & Burke- 17 minutes, full stage. Singing, dancing and talking. This act is going very good with us- fully as well as during their previous engagements. A. O. Duncan- Ventriloquist in two. 16 minutes. Closes in one about four minutes. Mr. Duncan is going very well, this being his third appearance in Pittsburg in the last two season and he is going fully as big as ever. CRESSY & DAYNE "The Village Lawyer". 24 minutes, full stage. Carries own set. We consider this one of Mr. Cressy's best sketches. He is going very well. Germinal- 8 minutes in one. Mr. Germinal sings two songs and is going very well here. Henry Lee- 24 minutes, full stage. Carries own set. Impersonater of great men. Mr. Lee's act is too well known to need criticism. Cliff Gordon. German monologist. 18 minutes in one. Mr. Gordon is going very good with us and I consider him far above the average. Lucie & Viate. Wire act. 7 minutes, full stage, wood. This is a very neat act and goes very well. Kinetograph "Off for the Holidays" "Joseph Sold by His Brothers" Lambert & Pierce- Black face singing, dancing and talking act in one- 13 minutes. The talking in this act is very bad. Singing and dancing fair. J. P. Harris.
