211 PHILADELPHIA SHOW, NOV. 7TH '04 H. A. DANIELS. EPPS & LORETTA-3-Colored man and woman, singing and dancing act. Surely in the three show class. Not quite up to the standard of other colored teams we have played. Just fair three show act, although they worked hard. 13 mins. in one. THE NOHRENS-NR-3-Man and woman, working on a double swinging trapeze. Played the circuit many times. Good three show act for this house. 11 mins. Gar. in 4. AL. H. BURTON-SR-3-Singing and talking comedian. Tells a few stories. Has a good, strong singing voice. His stories do not amount to much. All right for three show section. 14 mins. in one. EARL & WILSON-GYH-3-Man and woman, comedy musical act, with the woman doing the comedy. A good three show act. Comedy is not bad and music is fair. Always seem to go quite well here in an early place. 15 mins. C.D.F. in 3. Close in one. ROBERT FULGORA-YRR-2-Quick change artist. After seeing Henry Lee, this man's work seems crude. He carries a lot of stuff, and presents four tableaux and a horse race scene, with moving panorama for the finish. He makes his changes very quickly, but the act lacks finish and seems very crude in spots. May go better to-night. Should be on before 2.30 and 8. 19 mins. Special Set. ROSE & HATCH-Kr-3-Two young ladies, singing operatic selections. One is a soprano; other, a contralto. Sing solos and duets. Soprano has a very sweet voice. A very good straight singing act for the three show section. 11 mins. in one. FADETTE WOMAN'S ORCHESTRA-Second week. Special Set. 36 mins. RAYMOND & CAVERLY-YRR-2-German comedians. Two men, well known on the circuit. Probably about as good as any of the Dutch talking acts we play. Always make good here, and to-day were the applause hit of the show. 21 mins. in one. GIRARD & GARDNER-YRR-2-Sketch "Dooley and the Diamond." Have played this sketch here before. It is similar to their old act, and goes about as well. Girard always seems to get the laughs, although he has played here five or six times in two years. Good act. C.D.F. in 3 25 mins. CLIFFORD & BURKE-GHR-2-Two men, blackface singing, dancing and talking comedians. Working in imitation of Williams & Walker. Good, lively two show act. 16 mins. in one. ROSE STAHL & CO.-MRR-2-Comedy sketch "The Chorus Lady." Miss Stahl has played this sketch here before, and as the act has been over the circuit, it needs no detailed description. Very good comedy act. The new man improves the act. 25 mins. Plain in 3. HINES & REMINGTON-GNH-2-Man and woman, comedy talking act. The audience walked out on the act, and Raymond & Caverly will come down here. Maybe a good act for the earlier two show section, but cannot hold down this place. 17 mins. in one. WILTON BROS.-YRR-2-Two men, triple horizontal bar act, one man working straight; other as comedian. Use the bounding net. Very good act. 10 mins. Gar. in 4.
