Walter C. Kelly. Monologue comedian, giving a scene of a Southern Court-room. One of the best acts, of the kind, we have. 16 min. in one, 2 shows. Ye Colonial Septette. Singing and instrumental act, the instrumental work being the feature of their speciality. The act is beautifully staged and shows the head of a first class stage manager in securing atmosphere in its presentation. This goes a long way to make the act what it is. Regarding the instrumental work we have had other acts here that are considerably superior, notably The Six Cuttys, and The Willis Family, however it is a decided novelty and thoroughly all right and made good today and I am quite sure will the rest of the week. 27 min. closing with about 5 min. in one, 2 shows. Wormwood's Dogs & Monkeys. Practically the same act that he has given us before with a few new features. 25 min. full stage, can do a close in one of required, 2 shows. Motion Pictures. I didn't get an opportunity to see any excepting the first two presented today which were the "Automobile chase", a decidedly effective and funny picture somewhat resembling "The Impossible Voyage", and "The Opening of the Base Ball Sea-son in New York", a very attractive picture. Lorvette. Magician. Haven't had an opportunity to see this act. Will give you report on it later.
