Harry Gilfoil, 2 shows, 21 min. full stage--Got the first advance applause of the day. Too well-known to need comment from me. All of his work was strongly applauded today and he was one of the applause hits of the show. Murphy and Francis, 2 shows, 15 min. in 1--"Real coon" singers and dancers. As usual, with these colored teams, the woman does not amount to much, although in this case, she is a little above the average, but the man's dancing carries the act and it was one of the applause hits of the show. Berzac's Circus, 2 shows, 15 min. full stage--Just as big a laughing hit as during the preceding six days, although we will move them up to 3 o'clock for the balance of the week. Kinetograph, 3 shows, 20 min. in 1--showing the following list of interesting motion picture: 1. The Awful Baby. Good comedy picture that got the holiday audience. 2. Aylesbury Ducks. Just a fair film of the interest to women and children. 3. The Irascible Fisherman. Fair picture. 4. The Mischievous Children. Good comedy picture secured plenty of laughs. Of special interest to women and children. T.J. Gorman and Estelle West, 3 shows, 15 min. open in 3, (close close in 1, if necessary)--Comedy singing and dancing skit, "A special Meeting". Well-known over the circuit. Did very well for the early 3-a-day section. J.W. Harrington, 3 shows, 12 min, in 1--Dialect mimstic comedian, Put this man in in place of Ed Mullen who did not show up or even send word. He is just a fair entertainer but I would not recommend him for any of the other houses. Comment:- We opened today at 11 o'clock dividing the day into three distinct shows. The show is a good holiday bill. Tomorrow the bill will be run as follows: J.W. Harrington, Gorman and West. The Gregsons, Alpha Trio, Marie Laurent, The Tobins, Duryea and Mortimer, Jack Gardner, Berzac's Circus, Sallie Stembler, Harry Gilfoil, Murphy and Francis, DeWitt, Burns and Terrance, Kinetograph and Meany and Anderson.
