5 (H.A. Daniels) Keith's Theatre, Cleveland. Week of Sept. 4, 1905. CHERRY & BATES, GYH2 - 2 men. Comedy bicycle act. Good opening act for this house. 17 minutes full stage. CHERIDAH SIMPSON, YRR2. -- Vocalist. Could stand a much better place on the bill as she is well known here. C.D.F. in 2, open and close in one. DURBYELLE SISTERS, --GRR2 - Shadowgraphists. Quite a clever little sight act. Received deserved applause. 14 minutes palace in 3. Sidney Grant, -- YRR2.--Singing, stories and imitations. First time in Cleveland in two years. Has all new material since I last saw him. Seems to have some following here and received advance applause. 20 minutes, oilo in 1. THREE KEATONS, YYH2.--Same act they have always presented and it seems to go quite well. The newspapers and some of the patrons seem to think that Buster is badly treated. Buster's work received applause. 23 minutes, landscape in 4. Close in one. HORSKY, BERGERE & CO., YHR2 - Comedy sketch entitled "He, She and He." 2 men and 1 woman. Has played over the circuit needs no detailed criticism. Newspapers didn't think much of it, but the audience seemed to thoroughly enjoy it. 18 minutes C. D. F. in 3. THREE CRANES, YHR2 -- "The Mudtown Minstrels." Probably the hit of the show. Every news paper in town has published cartoons of the act. The critics here seem to think that it is the greatest act in vaudeville. My opinion was that the audience could only understand it in spots. Liberal applause. 19 minutes, drapery in 1.
