34 NEW YORK - September 11th, 1905.-(2) TOM BROWNE: Whistling and Imitators: His Whistling went very good. The imitations the Grand Jury couldn't see. This place is a little too strong for him. 11 min. Drapery in 2-close in one-2 shows. MILITARY OCTET and the Girl with the Baton:-8 men and 3 women: Musical Spectacular Production: In three scenes: Quite a novelty. Each scene and all the selections were strongly applauded. 30 min. - full stage - close in one in about 2 min. MISS LYDIA KNOTT & COMPANY: 3 men and one woman in the dramatic sketch: "A Wall Street Battle." This is one of the most interesting sketches that we ever had in the house, but it is a pity that it is being ruined by the bad actors. Two of the men should have been landed in Philadelphia. Woman just about gets by. Act contains several laughs, it is interesting and held the attention of the audience until the finish, notwithstanding all these bad defects. 22 min. - full stage - 22 sows. THOMPSON & VIDOCQ: - 2 men: Talking Comedy: These boys were the applause head of the show this afternoon. There material is all bright and good. Continual laughter throughout. 14 min. in one. CHARLES BARON with his Burlesque Dog Menagerie: Continual laughter all through his act. Went fully as strong as last week. 14 min. full stage. KINETOGRAPH: 20 min. "Whale Fishing:" Quite an interesting picture. Bad photographically but instructive. "The Phantom:" Good "The Vendetta:" Good
