PHILADELPHIA SHOW SEPT. 18TH 1905. (2) H.T. JORDAN. 41 THE GREAT LAFAYETTE -2-Lafayette and his company presented his pantomimical spectacle, "The Lion's Bride" While it is the same act that Lafayette has been doing for years, he has an entire new set, new costumes, and it is really a good thing. The act was shown under great disadvantages as the lion refused to go into the cage, and held the curtain nearly five minutes, then later in the act, the inside gates in the cage refused to work which caused the finish to be rather tame. When everything goes properly, however, the act will prove a winner. 17 mins. Spec. COAKLEY & McBRIDE-2-Blackface comedians. Two men, one working as a wench, well known on circuit. Went very strong this afternoon with their songs, talk and dancing. 20 mins. Adv. St. in 1. 5 PIRROCOFFIS-2-European jugglers. Three men, one woman, and a girl, in concerted juggling working on the order of the Agoust Family, but presenting the act made up as clowns. They work quickly, have original methods, and pleased to-days packed house immensely. Corking good sight act, and can be called a hit with to-day's audience. 10 ins. Pl. in 4. LEE HARRISON-2-Stories. This is Harrison's first appearance in vaudeville in this town, and he received the first advance applause of the day, showing that he was well known from his appearances at the other theatres in the town. His stories are new, his methods original, and he was undoubtedly the laughter and applause hit of to-day's show. THE GREAT LAFAYETTE-2-Lafayette and his travesty band. Am closing the show this week with the travesties, as his work in this act was the tlk of the town last week; held the audience to a man to-day. All of his selections laughed at and applauded. Doing Sousa this week. 21 mins. Spec. in 3 KINETOGRAPH:- 1. THE FIREBUG. This is quite an exciting picture on the melodramatic order, and was watched with interest. 2. THE DANGEROUS GOLFERS. An English film, original and very funny.
