43 TEMPLE THEATER, DETROIT, MICH. Sept. [13?], 1905-J. H. Finn. JAMES MOONEY & IDA HOLBEIN- A singing, dancing and comedy act of average merit. It opened our show and is not strong enough for any other place on the bill. 15 min. F. S. 3 in one. THREE SENSATIONAL ZOELLERS- Two men and a woman in trapeze act. This act does not compare with the Aerial Smiths, M'lle. Martha and others. The trio work slow. 10 min. F. S. LOUISE DRESSER- This handsome singing comedienne was given a big advance applause at the matinee, and at both performances she scored as big as any act of this kind we ever played. She has all new songs and every one is a hit. 15 min. in one. LOA & FAY DURBVELLE- This sisters presented shadowgraphs in a very acceptable manner. They work in full view of the audience and were greeted with considerable applause. 14 min. F. S. SIX MUSICAL CUTTYS- As usual they were the big musical hit of the season, and hogged the show. 18 min. F. S. 3 in one. WILFRED CLARKE & CO.- The nephew of Edwin Booth again scored heavily in a new playlet. Theo Carew, Mr. Clarke's wife, did not appear with him but her place was filled acceptably. 22 min. F. S. JACK NORWORTH- Norworth is quite a favorite here and was recalled and recalled until he had to make a curtain speech. 14 min. in one. COLEMAN'S DOGS & CATS- A very good animal act. Too well known to need extended mention 17 min. F. S.
