Navajo Girls, 2 shows, 25 min. full stage, close in 1--instrumental, singing and dancing specialties, presented in three scenes: 1, Indian Camp; 2, Aboard Ship; 3, Interior. Between the full stage portion they introduced a violin solo and whistling imitations by May Evans. Went very well today and it will unquestionably go big tonight. Did not open in 1, but can close in 1, if needed. Stuart Barnes, 2 shows, 18 min. in 1--Well-known monologue comedian. Got a good hand on his entrance. Had an entirely new line of material and scored one of the applause hits of the show. Hal Davis, Inez Macauley and company, 2 shows, 22 min. full stage--In the comedy-melodrama, "Pals". The first portion of the act aroused considerable laughter and the finish was really exciting to the audience. Got three curtain calls at the finish. Kinetograph, 3 shows, 20 min. in 1--Showing the following motion pictures: 1. Whale Fishing. Excellent picture and followed with absorbing intrest. 2. The Servant Girl Problem. Good comedy film, excellent photographically and aroused considerable laughter today. The Maginleys, 3 shows, 10 min, full stage--Man and woman, on the double trapeze and suspended ropes. Excellent act from the 3-a-day standpoint. Would give them a much beetter position if it were possible. Comment:- The show is not up to that of last week, but that does not by any means mean a poor one. I think the Navajo Girls will be going big before the week is out. May Belfort scored quite a big hit here today and I wish she might be kept in mind for a rebooking for this house. We had an excellent Monday audience and will probably do an excellent business throughout the week.
