PHILADELPHIA SHOW, OCT. 23RD, 1905. -2- H. T. JORDAN. BLOOM & COOPER-2-In their well known playlet, "A Picture from Life." While this act well known on the rest of the circuit, this is the first time for it in this house. Bloom is without doubt the best tramp delineator that we have yet had, and his work was thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated by to-day's audience. Was the laughter and applause hit of the show up to this point, and without question will be one of the features of this week's bill. 22 mins. Water Lanscape in 3. Blind close in. JOE. REICHEN & HIS DOGS-2-The balancing feats performed by these dogs are marvelous, and duplicated by no other dog act that we have ever played. To say that the act created a sensation to-day, is to put it mildly, as it was without question the hit of the bill up to this point. Great improvement even since his last visit. 10 mins. Gar. 3 VILLAGE CHOIR-2-This act is a great favorite with our audience, and the advance applause was strong. While we have had better singers, there is no singing act playing this house that is so much commented on as this one, their work seeming to strike a responsive chord with our people. Always a hit in this house, and to-day was no exception. Could play here at least four times a year. 16 mins. Road Lanscape in 1. FERRY CORWEY-2-European musical clown. The work of this man was an absolut novelty, being away from anything our audience had yet seen. He really is an artist as a musician, and the comedy introduced seemed to appeal. Scored strongly to-day, and will undoubtedly be another act that will be talked about. 12 mins. Gar. in 3 HARRY DAVENPORT-2-This is another Philadelphia favorite. Although this man's work is very quiet, it is also thoroughly artistic, and never fails to win out. 12 mins. Olio 1. PAUL CONCHAS-2-This man's work was reviewed in Boston. As good an artist in his line as Salerno is in his. The comedy assistant aroused lots of laughs, due largely I think to the fact, that the audience was keyed up to such a tension that anything humorous came as a relaxation. Will be the talk of Philadelphia. 23 mins. Gar. in 4. FERRY CORWEY-2-European musical clown. The work of this man was an absolut novelty, being away from anything our audience had yet seen.
