PHILADELPHIA SHOW, OCT. 30TH, 1905. -2- H. T. JORDAN GARDINER & VINCENT (Con) used by Guyer & O'Neill. The act is a decided novelty, and well owrked out. The comedy introduced is good, as is also the singing. Held the attention of the audience this afternoon, and three curtain calls at the finish, showing that the act was appreciated. 20 mins. Spec. in 1/ 2/ & 3. JOHN EBERLY-2-Baritone. This man has an excellent voice, and well chosen numbers. Each number received hearty applause, and the man is an addition to the vaudeville ranks. Good act. 10 mins. in 1. PAUL CONCHAS-2-Military Hercules. Advance applause. While he seemed to hold the attention of this week's audience as well as last, the applause was not so liberal. Made good, however, and will be all right for the second week. One or two new stunts. 25 mins. Gar. in 4. DAISY HARCOURT-2-English character artist. This girl is certainly a find. All her songs are decidedly English as is also her pronounciation but they seemed to be thoroughly understood by our audience. Has a winning personality, a little inclined to be fresh with the audience, but does not over do it. Hit of the show up to this point. 15 mins. 1. SNYDER & BUCKLEY-2-Musical comedians. Too well know for comment. Made their usual hit to-day. 25 mins. C.D.F. in 3. & Olio in 1. CRESSY & DAYNE-2- In their new sketch entitled, "Town Hall To-Night." Bore out all the good reports we have had from the other houses, and scored a hit to-day. As good if not the best of the Cressy sketches. 25 mins. Spec. in 4. BILLY VAN-2-Minstrel. While the material he presents is old his delivery struck our audience as funny, and he succeeded in holding down an exceedingly hard place on the bill in good shape. 15 mins. in 1. 3 MEERS-2-Comedy wire act. Two men and a woman, one man working straight, the other eccentric. Second time here. Good closing act, but did not go as good as it will later on account of lateness of show. 15 mins. Pal. in 4.
