PHILADELPHIA SHOW, NOV. 27TH., 1905 FORD & WILSON-2-Black face comedians. Same act as when here before. While their material is old they present it well, and with lots of life and were successful in winning laughter and applause. 13 mins. in 1. AGOUST FAMILY-2-Well known jugglers. They introduce nothing new, but the work is cleverly done, and the costuming and the grace shown win out They are very popular in Philadelphia, and closed to good applause. 20 mins. C.D.F. in 3. Door R, 3 & Door L. 2 & 3 LEW HAWKINS-2-Black face monologue. This man with little new material filled in this hard spot fairly well. 13 mins. Olio in 1. 8 ALLISONS-2-Eight men. One of the best and cleanest acrobatic acts we have ever had in this theatre. Introduced lots of new and novel stuff, and scored strongly. 12 mins. Pal. in 5. KINETOGRAPH:- 1. MATRIMONIAL AGENCY. Fair little comedy picture. 2. RECEPTION OF PRINCE LOUIS. This picture is quite good photographically, and on account of interest aroused by so much newspaper matter, proves timely and interesting. 3. KEEP IT STRAIGHT. Fair comedy picture. CABARET'S PERFORMING DOGS.-2-While this act introduced nothing new or novel in the way of animal training, it comprises some very good somer set dogs, and introduces a toy ferris wheel, and a merry-go-round, which makes it very interesting for the chidren. It is too short, however, to be of any real value for the money. 12 mins. Gar. in 4. COMMENT-2- The show this week is hardly up to the standard, and failed to please to-days audience, being more severely criticized than any show that we have had for some time. Much of this is due I think, to the fact that there is too much black in the show, as we have a colored team, two black face acts, and there is also a black face makeup in the Agoust Family. It is unfortunate that the show does not turn out better this week as the legimate house have the best attractions of the year. Among which are "The College Widow." Fields in "It Happened in Nordland." John Drew, Edna May, and Mrs. Josie Carter.
