New York Criticism--Nov. 20th, 1905. --oo(2)oo-- GEORGE WILSON: Blackface. Has some new material. With the cream spot on the bill, couldn't help but make it go. Had them laughing through his entire act. 17 min. in one- 2 shows MUSICAL CUTTYS: All their selections were strongly applauded. Only need to repeat former criticisms:-"One of the best musical acts we play." 24 min.-full stage- THE ZANCIGS: Mind-reading. Made a great impression. Had them guessing through their entire act. Good for a run. One big hit. 15 min. in one- WARD & CURRAN: In "The Terrible Judge." John Curran received a big applause on his entrance. All of his impersonations were strongly applauded. Roars of laughter throughout. Took three bows on the finish. Went fully as strong as when last here. 27 min.-full stage-2 HOEY & LEE: Hebrew Impersonators. Negoiated this place in great shape. The monologue is funny and the parodies, as usual, one big hit. 17 min. in one- 2 shows EIGHT ALLISONS: Acrobats. First time here. Make an elegant appearance. Work quick and with great ease. All the tricks are novel and each one strongly applauded. One of the best acrobatic acts we ever had. KINETOGRAPH: "The Hoodoo Automobile." Good comedy. "The Great Foot Ball Game." Good photographically, especially at this season of the year.
