119 Cleveland Show, Dec. 4, 1905. (H. A. Daniels) AVON COMEDY TOUR--Four men in a school room scene in imitation of Al. Leach and the three rosebuds. Consists mostly of some rough house comedy and some good singing. Quite a good act for this spot. C. D. F. in 3, close in one. 10 minutes. BORANI & NEVARO--Man and woman in a novelty contortion and acrobatic act. Miss Nevaro used to be the young lady with the Three Nevaros and is a contortionist and acrobat of unusual ability. This team presents an interesting and novel act which includes some new and difficult stunts in this line of work. Their work this afternoon was liberally applauded. A good act. C. D. F. in 3, close in one. 11 minutes. AERIAL SMITHS--Man and woman in a swinging ring and trapeze act well known on the circuit. They have opened shows in the continuous houses, but they work so rapidly and without unnecessary posing that I have placed them in this spot on the bill and they more than make good. They have closed the show in this house and made a hit. Good act.Wood in 3. 8 minutes. FERRY CORWEY-French musical clown. One of the most sensational musical novelties ever seen in this house. A genuine novelty and an act that could be featured on any bill and make good. One of the most interesting novelty musical act that I have ever seen. All of his work is interesting. Made quite a stir today. Very good act. Full stage. 11 minutes. DORA PELLETIER--Comedienne and mimic. This artiste is hardly capable to hold down this spot on the bill. However, it was the only spot I had for her and she did the best she could. Imitated George Cohan, Albert Chevalier, Anna Held and Effie Fay. Drop in one. 16 minutes. CRESSY & DAYNE--In their latest sketch, "Town Hall Tonight". Well known on the circuit. Played this house last season. Cressy's work needs no comment. A very good act. Special set in 3. 35 min. GEORGE W. DAY--Monologue. Well known on the circuit. Had a very hard spot to negotiate, but succeeded admirably. Received tremendous applause at the close. Drop in one. 17 minutes. ROSE WENTWORTH TRIO--Well known equestrian act late with the Barnum and Bailey show. The act was not as good as it was last year. The man that does the bare back riding with Miss Wentworth is not the young man they had with them last season. The man that tried to ride with her today was very bad. He made two very bad falls showing conclusively that he was not an expert. I should judge that he receives about half the money they paid last season. A good act. Wood in 5. 8 minutes. KINETOGRAPH--Rip Van Winkle's dream. A French picture giving the French version of Rip Van Winkle.
