New York Schedule--Dec. 18th, 1905. MORTON, TEMPLE, & MORTON: Man, boy and girl. Acrobatic singing and dancing. The singing and talking does not amount to anything. They make good, however, on their acrobatic dancing, the girl in particular. Act is alright for an early place. 14 min.-full stage-3 shows. EDWINA MERCIER: Character Vocaliste. Pleasing personality with a neat little voice. Sings three songs. One is in automobile character, which just about passes. As the tough girl, she received some applause. Closed with a coon song and a little dancing. The dancing does not amount to much. The girl is alright for an early place. 12 min. in one-3 shows. CHAS. & JAC. AHEARN: Man and woman. Comedy Bicyclists. Received some scattered applause for the trick work. Got a few laughs for the comedy end of it, but fell flat on the finish. The act is, however, alright for three shows. Cut out--Fingers to nose. 11 min.-full stage- 3 shows PIERCE & OPP: 2 men. German Comedians. Material is not exceptionally bright, but manage to get a few laughs. They introduce the double-voice singing, which they do fairly well. Strongest part of the act is the wooden-shoe dancing. Act is a little-off for this place on the bill, but can't do otherwise. They are alright to open the show. 14 min. in one- 3 shows Cut out:-"Cheese and crackers." ED. F. REYNARD: Ventriloquist. This man received recognition as the curtain went uDance:p for the mechanical end. Received laughs throughout. Applause hit of the show up to this time. 24 min.-full stage- 2 shows MILT WOOD: Dancer: Opens with a song and then gives a good exhibition of wooden-shoe dancing. His singing does not amount to anything, but the act is too short without it. 9 min. in one- 3 shows BORANI & NEVARRO: Man and woman. Acrobatic stunts, while the woman, with a pleasing personality, is a clever contortionist. They secured quite a number of laughs and the work of both was applauded throughout. 12 min.-full stage--(Close in one about 2 minutes)-2 shows FOUR LONDONS: 4 men. Aerial Artists. At the price this act is alright. They work a little slow and do a lot of posing, but manage to get the applause. 11 min. full stage- 2 spws KINETOGRAPH: "The Tragedy at Sea." Rather fakey, but passes. "The Night before Christmas." Alright for this time of the year, but has the stamp of the McCutchions film as he introduces the old-time pillow fight. I doubt if this picture can make good over the circuit except at this season.
