TEMPLE THEATER, DETROIT, MICH., DEC. 18, 1905.-While there isn't anything startling or new about this bill it is quite pleasing throughout, and will do a normal business for this time of the year. J. H. Finn. AERIAL SMITHS-Man and woman in a trapeze act of great merit. They work fast and sure. 11 min. F.S. MESSENGER BOYS TRIO-This is just a fair singing and comedy act, but quite good enough for this spot on the bill. 16 min. in one. KENO, WELSH & MELROSE-Comedy-acrobatic act, well known on the circuit. It averages well with like acts. 11 min. F. S. MADAME SLAPOFFSKI-Grand voice, poor stage presence. She was not happy in her selection of songs, and on this account did not appear to as good advantage as she did on her initial appearance here. 12 min in 1 FELIX, HARRY & CO.-Presenting "The Boy Next Door." In my opinion this act is a trifle coarse for this theater. I believe it will be geatly appreciated in the burlesque houses. 23 min. F. S. EIGHT VASSAR GIRLS-Too well known on the circuit for extended mention. With one exception the same girls that appeared here a year ago. It is a fine act for any vaudeville theater. 18 min. open in one. GEORGE H. WOOD-Brought the same material he presented before, and went about as well. While I cannot see him with a field glass he appears to have many friends here. 2o min. in one. STALEY & BIRBECK-This, of course, is a great act, and the first two performances the changes were made without a hitch. 9 min. F.S. Kinetograph-The Christmas pictures of St. Nicholas are very fine.
