NEW YORK SCHEDULE---Dec. 25th, 1905. THEO. & CAMILLE LA JESS: Gymnasts and contortionists. Well known. Alright for an opener. 12 min.-full stage- 2 shows SMITH & BAKER: 2 men. One straight, the other eccentric. The comedy and the talking end of the act is bad. The singing and dancing lets them out. 16 min. in one-3 HY GREENWAY: Comedy juggler. Received quite a number of laughs for his comedy work. The jugglng is alright. A fairly good three-show act. 15 min. in two- 3 SOLOMON 11: Mathematican. I really believe he is as good as Inaudi. This man multiplys and adds figures on a blackboard in one just as fast as the audience can give them. Tells the ages as rapidly as they give him the day and the date. Held the attention of the audeince throughout. Act is novel in the three-show section, and, therefore, should have immediate booking. 12 min. in one- 3 shows BELLE STONE: Ascends and descends the spiral locked in a steel New YOrk Schedule--Dec.25th, 1905. --oo--(2)oo--oo-- LES RENOS: 6 men. Parisian Pantomimic burglars. In a quick break-away, slap-stick,trick-house pantomime.Did not go so well this afternoon with the holiday crowd. After it is in better working shape, I think it will be more appreciated. At the price, the act is alright. 12 min.-full stage ELMER TENLEY: This man opens with a lot of new material pertaining to the race course, which is alright for New York, but I doubt if it would go in the other houses. The balance of his act consists of the old material, which is always acceptable here. Went just as strong as before. 16 min. in one- 2 shows PICCHIANI TROUPE: 5 women and 3 men. Acrobats. Costumes of women are very fine. They work quick, attempting some really marvelous feats. Strongly applauded throughout. 13 min.-full stage KINETOGRAPH: "A Joke on the Roundsman." Good comedy. Views and people of Ceylon Very interesting. "The Three Phases of the Moon." Comedy. Good.
