Harmony's Cats & DOGS. This is one of the best animal acts I have seen, not because of any marvelous work that they do, but because of the novelty of the act,-animals giving sort of a little drama following a consecutive story, more or less, in pantomime. With the holiday crowd, it went especially well. I think it will make good with all classes. 13 min. full stage, 2 shows. Fred Niblo. Considering the money paid this man is an out and out "gold-brick". At just one-half his salary, I would call him good, but I cannot, in any sense, see him at what we are paying him.15 min. in 1, 2 shows. Josephine Cohan & Co. In "Friday, the 13th." Miss Cohan has a very good sketch, good support, and some very good songs and dances and considering her reputation (which must have some draft) if we were paying her $150. less, I would recommend it as a first class act, but for the salary we are paying it, it is pilling it on decidedly. 23 min. full stage, 2 shows. Ford & Wilson. Blackface comedians. Went very well with today's audience and I believe will make good throughout the week. I consider them fully worth the money. 16 min. in 1, 2 shows. Parros Brothers. Comedy head-balancers and acrobats. A very novel act and the only one of the kind I know of. They made a big hit today. There is no reason why they should not, at all times. 12 min. full stage, 2 shows. Motion Pictures. O. K. NOTE. We are paying for the show at least $350. more than it is worth, from any standpoint, even considering the salaries as they are today.
