Cleveland Show Week of Dec. 25th, '05. (H. A. Daniels) LES AUBERTS--Man and woman. Parisian acrobatic dancing act. They work on the style of the De Forests. While this act is not as lively as the later, there is more acrobatic work injected into it and mKERNost of their work was applauded. Good opening act. Palace in 5. 8 minutes. KERN'S MIMIC DOG--Has been commented on in the other houses. Quite a clever little act in a small way. All of the characters were applauded. Drop in one. 8 minutes. FELIX, BARRY & CO.--The company is young Miss Emily Barry, the sketch, "The Boy Next Door", doing practically the same as the offering they had last year. Felix does about the same style of work as does also Miss Barry. With a holiday crowd today the act went quite well. C. D. F. in 3. 23 minutes. WORLD'S COMEDY FOUR--Four men, three working in dress suits, other as a comedian. Quite a stiff place for this act. Probably their singing is better than the comedy. Received frequent laughter and applause from a holiday audience. Drop in one. 15 minutes. FRANK V. SEYMOUR & EMMA HILL--Man and woman. Grotesue, acrobatic, comedy act. Very good of its kind, Seymour's work being especially pleasing to the audience. Went quite well. Garden in 4. 12 minutes. ANDERSON & GOINES--Two men, colored actors. Regular singing and dancing specialty that went very well. Rather a stiff place for them, but they managed to get away with it. Received liberal applause. Drop in one. 18 minutes. EDMUND DAY & CO.--In, "The Sheriff". This act has played the circuit and needs no detailed comment. It is one of the two featured acts this week. Day is well known in this town, is popular and the act goes as well here as in any house on the circuit. Special set in 4. 29 minutes. EIGHT VASSAR GIRLS--Musical act well known over the circuit. Girls play brass and reed instruments and finish with a spectacular dance with electrical effects. Good act for the holidays. Open in one, close full stage. 19 minutes. KINETOGRAPH--Children's Quarrel, good; Joys of married Life, fair; Black and White, Very Good.
