PHIL & NETTIE PETERS: Man and woman. Man works in ecccentric make-up. Material all good. Made the audience sit up, take notice and laugh heartily. Applause hit of the show up to this time. JULIE RING & G. ROLAND SARGEANT: Presenting the comedy:-"A Quiet Life." It is really a revised edition of the "Happy Fair" played here three or four times by other performers, therefore, description of the act is not necessary. Sargeant formerly worked with Lewis McCord "In his Last Rehearsal." Act secured quite a number of laughs. At the price act is alright, if not on too late. 16 min.-full stage- 2 shows CLARICE VANCE. The Southern Singer. Good selections of songs. Applause hit of the show. 11 min. in one- 2 shows BERT LEVY assisted by the famous artist model, LOTTIE VERNON: In the studio idyl: "The Artist and the Model." Act contains a little element of novelty. Levy sits at a table, draws sketches and they are transferred to a screen. Sketches Miss Vernon in various poses, also Warfield, Edna May and pictures of the Flat Iron Building and Statue of Liberty. Not a line spoken on the stage. Little bit of pantomime. Act is not bad, although the audience did not seem to appreciate the idea this afternoon. At the night performance he went very big. 18 min.-full stage- 2 shows W. H. MURPHY-NICHOLS & CO: Surprised to see how this act holds on. Was one continual laugh to-day from start to finish. I think it is safe to say,-the laughing hit of the show. 27 min.-open in one-close full stage- FORD & WILSON: Blackface Comedians. The talking does not amount to much. The singing and dancing is their stronghold. Although inclined to be a little bit rough, they negoiated this spot in fairly good shape. 13 min. in one- 2 shows HERMANY'S DOGS & CATS: In a pantomimic sketch:- "A Friend of Animals." Has qute a good troupe of dogs and cats. Well trained. Introducing a lot of new tricks and work perfect. The work of the dog "Meder", as the enchanted statue, is wonderful. Will try and arrange to give him a better place on the bill to show it to better advantage. 12 min.-full stage- 2 shows KINETOGRAPH: "Bicycle Thief." French chasing picture. Good comedy. "The Thrilling Rescue." Fair "The Country Courtship." Good comedy.
