TEMPLE THEATER, J. H. Finn. DETROIT, MICH. Jan. 15, 1906. FREDO & DARE-George Harry in a comdy musical act that went very big for this spot on the bill. 15 min. F. S. Close in one 5. ELMER TERLEY-Brought about the same material he had before, but went big nevertheless. We consider him among the best of monologists. 16 min. in one. MAX WELSON TROUPE-Four great athletes, in strong arm work on ropes similar to a ring act. 11 min. F. S. SEARL & VIOLET ALLEN CO-Five people presenting a crazy act that is hard to describe. "The New Reporter" resembles a chunk taken out of a popular price musical comedy, with people running on and off the stage in startling confusion, saying crazy things and doing crazy things. It met with considerable favor here. 26 min. in one. FREDERIC BOND, FREMONT BENTON & CO.-Five people presenting a new sketch entitled "Handkerchief No. 15." This is a lively sketch with something doing every minute. 25 min. F. S. KATHERINE BLOODGOOD-A fine looking woman with a contralto voice of considerable range and sweetness. Her selection of songs was not the best for this theater. 8 min. in one. LESLIE & DAILEY CO.-Presenting their slang act. This act did not go nearly as well as on its first presentation. it is the sort of act that does not stand wear. People remember the slang phrases too well. 14 min. F. S. Close in one 7 min. MME. THERESA RENZ-This act is fully as good as the act of Helen Gerard or Rose Wentworth but no better. 12 min. F. S.
