(2) JEWELL'S MANIKINS.--26 min. F. S. A splendid children's feature. Laughs and applause were constant. Combines a miniature stgge the spectacular, music, dancing and wit. Children's "Ha-ha's" were frequently heard throug audience showing that it took well with the little folks. QUIGLEY BROS.--18 min. in 1. Irish comedians. Not so strong as we expected. Many origntl lines and well delivered, but the matter concerned death, unde takers or drink; and although the laughs were frequent, the whole act shoul be cut down, for the audience tired before the finish which was weak. Could not hold place on bill first planned--that is, where Carlin & Otto are now. FRANK D. BRYAN'S AMERICAN GIRLS.--Second week. Stronger than ever. Bryan is certainly a real showman, and this patriotic ensemble took with the holiday crowd immensely. Every song and change got a good hand, and the close was an ovation. It will go better than last week, and is by far the star attraction, so far as popularity goes, though Dunn & Glzier are the headliners and are supposed to pull the biggest money to the house. From now on the show will pull up much stronger. CARLIN & OTTO.--15 min. in 1. Two of the best Dutch comedians in Vaudeville. Both work eccentric. New line of stuff and all clever. Dancing as good as the humor work. Can hold any place on the bill, particularly good after such as Bryan's. A. 1. throughout. Kaufmann Troupe.--F. S. 15 min. Cycly act. One of the best closing features ever seen in this or any vaudeville house. Every feat received applause, and there is a pureness and finish about the act that is an added charm. Very popular here, as they deserve to be. The finish big. REMARKS; The show is a little shy on comedy, and altogether not so strong as last week. However, the latter part of the bill picks it up very well so that ac capacity house left fully satisfied. As this is a semi-holiday week (Although the schools were closed to-day, Lincoln's Birthday), we are safely assured of a good business. KINETOGRAPH.-- A SHAVE BY INSTALLMENTS. Rather amusing comedy series. MOOSE-HUNTING IN CANADA.--A very realistic group, full of outdoors, and took well. Would like one of the kind every week. SKI-RUNNING.--Of the foregoing variety. Most interesting, full of action and far removed from the artificial and the fake. O. K. MR. AND MRS. FRED LUCIER.--Followed Kinetograph because of other violinist [illegible--torn] 20 min. "Rustic Romeo." Took very well, the
