PITTSBURG, PA. GRAND OPERA HOUSE FEB. 12th, 06. AERIAL WEAVERS-3 shows, 10 minutes. This is not a good act, not even among the three a days. Would not care to play them a return. TOTO-10 minutes. Too well known on the circuit for criticism. LEROY & WOODFORD-18 minutes, street. Singing and talking act. I consider this a good act. They have played here several times and they went fully as well this week as they ever did. PANTZER TRIO-12 minutes, interior. There is only one girl doing contortion work in this act now. While the act looked much larger with four people in it, I think they are going as well as they ever did. They are undoubtedly the best act of the kind in the business. SYDNEY GRANT-Olio-18 minutes. Monologue and mimic. Mr. Grant is doing about the same that he has done for the last two or three years and is going very well. DURYEA & MORTIMER-23 minutes, interior, in their sketch entitled "The Impostor". This is the second time we have played this act, yet it went fully as strong as it did on their first appearance. MARION GARSON-10 minutes, olio. Operatic selections. While Miss Garson went fairly well, she did not do as well as she did during her first engagement here. However, she is a good act considering salary. HENRY LEE-"Great men past and present". 28 min, full stage. Mr. Lee had two new characters-John D. Rockefeller Col. Mann, which is about the only change in his act. He did not do as well for us this time as he did during his former engagements. MELANI TRIO-12 minutes in one. Their act is about the same as usual and it went very big. KENO, WALSH & MELROSE-Comedy acrobats. Garden, 15 minutes, can close in one. This can be classed as a good act but we have played them quite often and do not think that we would care to play them again. JOHN & BERTHA RICH-3 shows. 12 minutes. Singing and dancing act. Olio. Does very well among the three a day acts. CHAS. MCEVOY-10 minutes. Singing coon songs. 3 shows. Mr. McEvoy does not sing coon songs well and would not care to play him a return. John P. Harris.
