(2) SCOTT, WILSON & CO: In their acrobatic comedy, entitled:-"A Bit of Show Life." Act opens with Wilson making an apology to the audience on account of the absence of his partner. Scott is discovered in the Orchestra dressed as a farmer. They have some funny dialogue for a few minutes, finishing with Scott going upon the stage and then go through their acrobatic work, which is very original and funny. The company consists of two boys handling a "prop giraffe", which does not amount to much. Act stops when Scott and Wilson finish their acrobatic stunts. Will move them up a little further. 11 min.-full st. DAISY HARCOURT: Received some little advance applause. Gave us the identical act as before, but she held this place down in great shape. Did not make the pronounced hit as on former occasions. 16 min. in one DELIGHT BARSCH and the BROOMSTICK WITCHES: From the "Isle of Spice." A little off from the regulation acts of this nature. Girls make a very pleasing appearance. Change costumes several times. Good bright music. Dances novel and original. Good sight act and a relief from the continuous vaudeville, but no headline attraction. The Jury allowed them to pass by very quietly. Will move them up a few points. 14 min.-full stage LEW HAWKINS: Too hard going down here for this man. His parodies are good and some of his material is new, although some is so old and done so often, that I may request him to cut it. Left the stage to a very little applause. 13 min. in one MAX WELSON TROUPE: Only three members to this troupe instead of four as we have played on previous occasions. Description of the act is not necessary, as their work is well known. Received continual applause throughout. 12 min.-full stage KINETOGRAPH: "Living Flowers." Good photographically "School Boys' Conspiracy" Very good "From Cairo to the Pyramid." Very interesting "Robbers robbed." Good
