Melville Ellis, 2 shows, 18 min. in 1--In a musical monologue. t quite an advance reception. His act is the best bit of entertainment that order that we have had here and will no doubt appeal strongly to r afternoon audiences. he is a nice appearing chap and has a "taking" y in presenting his work. Excellent act for the 2-show division for this use. Bard Brothers, 2 shows, 10 min. full stage--It would be hard say enough for these chaps in their line of work. They probably got e biggest lot of applause handed out to an acrobatic act in this house. Hawthorne and Burt, 2 shows, 15 min. in 1--Hebrew comedians d eccentric dancers. have improved wonderfully since we played them here most a year ago. The comedian got the audience laughing in great shape is afternoon and his eccentric dancing went big. This spot is a little iff for them, but nevertheless we are going to try them tonight again. Lafayette, 2 shows, 12 min. full stage--presenting the tomimical spectacle, "The Lion's Bride". I question it if si a good idea half scare the audience to death, as it was apparent some were today. ll, after exhibiting all signs of fear, when the curtain dropped they ned about and strongly applauded the act. Kinetograph, 3 shows, 20 min. in 1--Showing the following t of pictures: 1. The Lost Collar Button. Good comedy picture. 2. Life on a Steamer. Interesting. 3. Summer Boarders. Fair comedy. Comment:- The show is a good one, well balanced and there uld be no dimunition in attendance.
