GRAND OPERA HOUSE WEEK COMMENCING NOV. 21st, 04. PIERCE & MAIZEE- 3 shows. Carry special drop. Singing and dancing act. This act is very neatly dressed and the yodelling of Mr. Pierce very good while the dancing is very ordinary. Taking all in all it is above the average act playing three shows. FITZGERALD- 12 minutes. 3 shows. Quick cgange act. This is a novel act but not well done. However, it does very well for the three a day section. [RADIE?] FARNUM- Singing and dancing act. 3 shows. 9 minutes. Olio. Does very well in the three a day section. RIVA BROS. Acrobats. 3 shows. Wood in three. This is a very good act-much above the average acts that play three shows. YANKEE COMEDY FOUR- 16 minutes in one. Street. This act is only fair-would not care to play it later than 8:15. FOUR AVOLOS. Xylophone players. 12 minutes in one. This is a very neat act-goes very well with us. HOWARD & BLAND- 25 minutes in three. In "A Strange Boy". This is the first time this act has played the Grand and it was a big hit. VIOLET DALE-In imitations. 10 minutes in one. Miss Dales does not do very well for us. She just about gets away. I would not care to play her a return. RICE & PREVOST-10 minutes, full stage, wood. Comedy acrobats. The greatest laughing hit in vaudeville. MELANI TRIO- Street singers in one. 14 minutes. This act always goes very well with us. Further comment unnecessary as it is too well known by all managers. WM. INGERSOLL & EVA TAYLOR in "Imaginary Madness". 22 minutes, full stage, interior. Both of these people were great stock favorites here and the act, of course, went big. I would consider it avery good act even were they strangers to our patrons. JOE FLYNN-Monologue in one. 18 minutes. Considering the hard place Mr. Flynn has, following Ingersoll & Taylor, we consider that he did very well. THE ICHI TROUPLE-Japanese Magicians. 20 minutes, full stage. This is their second appearance here, we have them close the show, and they interest the people all through the act. They hold the audience better than any act we have had to close the bill. KINETPGRAPH- "Too Late For Work The Orphans Drill The Old Maid The Circus The Impossible Plunger" J. P. Harris.
